I am a second cousin of Nora Stapleton who I met on a visit to Borrisoleigh in 1980s. She was helping at St Joseph’s Convent at the time. We did correspond for a while before she fell Ill with arthritis and could no longer write. I later learned of her death. I was wondering if anyone can tell me about Nora and her parents etc, I am doing my family history. My paternal grandfather was Patrick Ryan and I believe his father was Michael Ryan. I know his family came from the area. I would love to hear from anyone who may have information about Nora that would help in my research. Please contact me at: joan.jones22@outlook.com
