Borrisoleigh FC

We continued our league campaign with a local derby against Sallypark on Sunday the 4th of October. Looking to build on an opening day victory, the first 15 mins were an even affair with Borris looking
more threatening and looking solid at the back through Kevin Maher and Colm Boyle. The threatening Eddie Ryan scored the first two goals inside a 5 minute period before Jack Fitz scored a 3rd just before
half time as Borris went in 3-0 ahead. Borris continued on the front foot in the first 15 of the second half as forwards Eddie and Fitz added a further brace apiece, Borris leading 7-0 which it remained until full time. Well done to the boys on 2 from 2.

SAFEGUARDING MONTH OF OCTOBER – SAFEGUARDING IN OUR PARISH

Creating a Safe and Welcoming Parish for Everyone. Safeguarding is an essential part of parish life. As a parish community within the Archdiocese of Cashel & Emly, we are committed to creating an environment where everyone, especially children and young people, feel welcomed, respected, valued and safe.

Our Shared Responsibility

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Each of us has a part to play in ensuring that our parish is a safe and welcoming place for all. We encourage everyone involved in parish life to

be familiar with our safeguarding procedures and to speak up if they have a concern.

Creating a Safe Parish

A safe parish is one where children and young people are cherished, listened to, and protected. Our safeguarding policies, training and procedures help us to provide safe environments for
