I am a direct descendant of Martin Ryan B 1800 (approx) and his 2nd son Thomas Ryan (1829-1917). My grandmother Mary Julia Cummins (nee Callaghan) was the daughter of John Joseph and Mary Ann Callaghan (nee Ryan). Mary Ann was the third child of Thomas Ryan. I have had two trips exploring parts of Ireland but have not yet made it to Borrisoleigh, but hopefully one day. Might find a few distant relatives!
