Borrisoleigh Active Social Club

Borrisoleigh Active Social Club are holding a Coffee morning and cake sale this Friday June 16th from 10am to 12 noon. All donations of home baking would be appreciated and can be dropped into the Community Centre Borrisoleigh from 9am. Proceeds from this will be going to the people of Sudan, Syria and Turkey who are experiencing difficulties in their home countries.  

 

Our next outing is on July 4th to Tramore beach and Mount Congreve House and Gardens.  Cost of the day is €40 but a deposit of €20 needs to be paid to Eileen 087 9849848 or Lucia 086 3961211 on or before this Friday June 16th.

 

The date of our mystery trip in August has had to be changed to August 4th.  If you are interested in this names need to be registered by July 20th.  

 

Tipperary Age Friendly Expo 2023 takes place on Thursday 22 June in the Tus College Campus Nenagh Road Thurles.  This is a free event and all are welcome.  This is a day where a range of Services and Supports are Showcased for Positive Ageing in County Tipperary.  Free refreshments and Social Dancing on the day. 

 


Rockshield Educational Program

 

Information evening on Rockshield Educational Program  20th June at 8pm in Horse & Jockey Hotel.

This program on emotional well-being has been  researched and developed over 20 years by John Bourke, Upperchurch.

Free admission, all welcome.

Anam Cara Tipperary the organisation that supports bereaved parents, is holding it’s monthly Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Monday 19th June at 7:15pm in the Horse and Jockey Hotel, Thurles. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not.
