Creating a Safe and Welcoming Parish for Everyone. Safeguarding is an essential part of parish life. As a parish community within the Archdiocese of Cashel & Emly, we are committed to creating an environment where everyone, especially children and young people, feel welcomed, respected, valued and safe.

Our Shared Responsibility

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Each of us has a part to play in ensuring that our parish is a safe and welcoming place for all. We encourage everyone involved in parish life to

be familiar with our safeguarding procedures and to speak up if they have a concern.

Creating a Safe Parish

A safe parish is one where children and young people are cherished, listened to, and protected. Our safeguarding policies, training and procedures help us to provide safe environments for

Borrisoleigh Active Social Club

Borrisoleigh Active Social Club were off last week on their annual 3 night away. This year 46 headed to Donegal. While there they visited the Fanad Lighthouse, then took the scenic drive to Falcarragh onto Glenveagh National Park. They got a guided tour of Derry City which was most enjoyable. Paul McCahill provided music & song one of the nights but we had some very talented members that also sang, told stories and did a bit of dancing.  Overall there was great fun and a very enjoyable trip.

The next meeting of Borrisoleigh Active Social Club takes place tonight (Wed) Oct 14th at 7pm in the Community Centre Borrisoleigh.
