Senior Hurling: On Sunday 3rd of August we take on Toomevara in the North Championship Quarter Final. The game will take place in Nenagh at 3pm. We hope to see you there to support the lads.
Junior Hurling: There was no Junior A fixture this weekend. As it stands we have still to play Kilruane and a win will be needed to qualify for the knock out stages
Our Junior B team were in action against Toomevara on Saturday evening in round 3 of the north championship. We put in a great shift and were unlucky not to get a result despite losing by 5 points. The team that lined out was as follows. Martin Hayes, Toby Kavanagh, Danny Ryan, John Fitzgerald, Paidi Scanlon, Pauric Maher, Cathal O Connell, Liam Devaney, Gerry Treacy, Micháel Carey, Matt Stapleton, Tommy Mockler, Diarmuid Kinnane, Noel Kent, Rory Ryan. It was our 3rd loss of the campaign and we are now in danger of not making the knock out stages despite some good perfomances
Minor Hurling: Well done to our minor team who recorded their second win of the campaign with a fine 2-14 to 0-18 win over Ballina last Thursday evening. It was a game we dominated from the start and never let Ballina back into it. Our next game will take place on Thursday evening in Moneygall at 7pm against Roscrea. The team that lined out against Ballina was as follows: James McCormack, Aaron Reid, Declan O Connell, Jack Prior, Philip McCormack, Shane Kenny, Eoin Stapleton, Keiran Maher, Franz Leimhleimer, Jack Hogan, Danny Ryan, Micháel Carey, Sean Kenny, Jerry Kelly, Liam Devaney. Subs used-John Ryan
Intercounty Hurling: Huge congratulations to Tipperary and especially our 3 representatives Brendan Maher, Paddy Stapleton and Conor Kenny who recorded a great win over Dublin on Sunday. Tipp now face Cork in the All Ireland Semi Final in Croke Park on August 17th.
