MONTHLY PADRE PIO MASS

Our monthly St. Padre Pio healing Mass is on Wednesday night 28/02/2026 @ 7.30pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Toomevara. All present can avail of a blessing from 3 first class relics of St. Pio, St. Faustina and St. Therese of the little flower. These special Masses on the last Wednesday of each month have been very well attended and thanks to all for making the effort to attend and thanks to all for publicising it for us.

TIPPERARY PEACE CONVENTION

Tipperary Peace Convention is pleased to invite you to a talk entitled: Palestine – Today, Tomorrow, The Future – at Tipperary Town Library, Tipperary Excel, Tipperary Town, Friday 13th Feb @ 12noon. Speakers: Dr. Jilan Wahba Abdalmajid, Palestinian Ambassador to Ireland, Dr. Mohammed Abu Mughessib, Palestinian Doctor in Ireland, Mr. John Whyte, Acting Senior Deputy Director of Operations UNRWA. All are welcome to attend.

Borrisoleigh Active Social Club

Borrisoleigh Active Social Club were on the road again. Last Friday a group visited Bellefield House in Shinrone where they were treated to a guided tour of the grounds & viewed the spectacular Snowdrop displays. They went from there to Milltown Garden Centre where many purchased early bedding plants & Snowdrops, Crocues, daffodils & lots more. Thanks to Paul & his team for their friendliness, help & assistance. They then proceeded on to Roscrea Golf Club, where they enjoyed a superb meal & everyone enjoyed the day immensely.  

The AGM of Borrisoleigh Active Social Club was held last Wednesday night.  The following officers were elected:

A lot of ideas were discussed for the coming year.  On February 20th we’ll have 2 bus loads leaving Borrisoleigh.  One heading to Áras an Uachtaráin and the other heading to Monaghan for a weekend of music including The Celtic Brothers in concert, Red Hurley and Michael English among others.  

We’ve launched the details of our annual 45 Drive for this year. On Sat April 11th at 8pm we will hold a 45 drive in the Community Centre Borrisoleigh.  Anyone interested in supporting us as in donating a raffle prize or would like to buy a ticket please contact any of the officers.  Proceeds of this year’s 45 drive will be shared between the Irish Heart Foundation and Borrisoleigh Active Social Club.  
 

Borrisoleigh Tidy Towns

Borrisoleigh Tidy Towns is regrouping for the Spring and will meet in the Square on the 1st Saturday of each month at 10.30am. The next meeting is the 7th February. All are welcome to come along.

Knitting and Crochet Group

Knitting and Crochet Group meet every Wednesday from 10.00am to 11.30am in the Community Centre.

Eucharistic Adoration

Adoration in the Church of the Sacred Heart Borrisoleigh will take place after 10:00am Mass until 11:30 am on Wednesdays and Fridays

Adult Set Dancing Classes

Adult Set Dancing classes are taking place every Monday night in Finns Pub @ 8pm. Michael Cooney is running them. All are welcome.
