Borris-Ileigh Camogie Club Notes

All-Ireland Decider:

The result of the All-Ireland Under 16 final didn’t materialise the way the Premier County had hoped as an outstanding Cork team ruled supreme in Mallow on Sunday last.

A huge congrats to the girls in blue and gold for their efforts right throughout the year and hopefully their day in the sun will be witnessed in the very near future.

Congrats to our Borris Trio of Ava Bevans, Emma Maher and Aoife Fitzgerald.

Under 15:

Nenagh Eire Og visited the Park last week for the second round of the County Development League.  Despite our best efforts,  it was our visitors who emerged victorious on a 2-06 to 2-02 scoreline.

Under 12:

Our Under 12s defeated Thurles Sarsfields in their penultimate game of the round robin sectfirion last week while the also travelled to Newcastlewest in Limerick for a challenge match.

Under 10:

Our Under 10s had two great workouts against St Cronan’s Roscrea and Drom-Inch last week. This evening (Wednesday), they travel to Templetouhy for the next round of the County Development Blitzes.

Under 8 & 6:

Well done to all our upcoming stars in the Under 6 and 8 age-groups on their excellent display of skill when they played some fun games against Holycross-Ballycahill.
