Borris-Ileigh Camogie Club Notes
Final Action for Under 16’s:
Following on from an excellent team display in the semi-final final that resulted in a 8-13 to 3-04 victory over Kilruane MacDonaghs, we now head to the County Camogie Grounds on Friday night next where we will face the challenge of Cashel King Cormacs in the County A/B Shield Final at 7pm.
It would be great to see a big support travel to support the girls.
Under 14’s Win Local Derby:
Our Under 14’s came out on the right side of a 7-04 to 3-05 scoreline in a local derby Championship clash against Drom-Inch in a very entertaining encounter.
Wash out for Under 12’s:
Both of our Under 12 matches fell foul of the weather last week but they had a good workout against Monaleen of Limerick on Sunday morning in the Park.
We have a double header in the Park tomorrow (Thursday) evening. Our White team take on Ballina at 6:30pm while our Maroon team will host Moycarkey at 7:30pm.
10’s & 8’s in Action:
Our Under 8 and 10 teams had a busy week just gone. Both of them travelled to Toomevara for a series of fun challenge matches while our 8’s participated in the County Development Blitz in the Park on Saturday last.
Our Under 10’s also fielded in some challenge matches against Monaleen on Sunday morning.
