May He Rest In Peace
The death occurred on Sunday 20th March of Andrew Corbett, son of Mick and Ann Corbett formerly of Fantane. Andrew died suddenly after completing the Brentwood Half Marathon. Mick is a regular visitor to the website having signed the guestbook only a few weeks ago. Our sincerest sympathies go to his parents Mick and Ann, his wife Tessa and his beloved children Natasha and Jonny.
May He rest in peace.
National Spring Clean Week
Thomas McDonagh Commemorative Weekend
A programme of events is being organised to honour the legacy of Thomas MacDonagh, born in Cloughjordan in 1878 coordinated by the Heritage Group. These events highlight the legacy of his family life; his poetry and writings, his commitment to the Irish language, his appreciation of the beauty of nature in the surrounding countyside and his ultimate sacrifice on 3rd May 1916, when he gave his life for Ireland.

May I have this dance please?
On Monday night lastt, the 11th April, the children who attend set dancing lessons every Monday night put on a display of dancing. They entertained those present with all they have learned during the year and maybe taught them a thing or two in the process!!
