If you think you are not fit enough – Not true either.
On this Saturday we are doing an introductory stroll for everybody to join us.
An easy ramble on forest tracks with great views (weather permitting) approx. 1 hr of walking at a slow pace.
Meeting at the rear car park of Shanahan’s Service Station at 09.50hrs for departure at 10.00hrs

Pieta House
Pieta House, Roscrea Our Scór na bPáistí Novelty Act winners received a warm welcome following an invitation to perform at a Variety Concert in aid of Pieta House, Roscrea on Saturday 22nd March in the Auburn Lounge. An exciting and unique array of talent of over 20 acts performed on the night. Pieta House vision is to provide suicide and self-harm support services within 100 kilometres of everyone in Ireland. The Committee in Roscrea are working hard to reduce the number of deaths by suicide, reduce the number of people engaging in self-harm and to bring about social change in North Tipperary, around 90% of their income comes from fundraising events. Mary McLoughlin, Volunteer with Pieta House expressed her gratitude to everyone on the night for their generosity and support.
Daffodil Day 2014
Borrisoleigh Historical Society will host a lecture in the Community Centre, Borrisoleigh on Wednesday next 26th March at 8pm. Title of Lecture "Continuity and Change in Agriculture in the Parish of Borrisoleigh". It will be delivered by Borrisoleigh native, Professor Gerry Boyle, Director of Teagasc. This lecture will give a great insight into the past and present methods of farming. Refresments will be served.

Our U12 Footballers played their first game of the championship last Friday evening against Portroe. After a fine game of football they lost narrowly on a scoreline of 2-06 to 1-06. They will play silvermines next week end. Our U16 footballers are also set to play portroe next weekend. The U14 Football will commence away to Shannon Rovers on Wednesday 2 April.
Thanks to John Stapleton, the Community Games committee, our own Juvenile GAA Committee for their help in organising the recent progressive 25 drive in the Parish Centre. An enjoyable night was had by all. Thanks to those who donated raffle prizes also. Winners on the night were 1st Denis and Michael Gleeson 12 games, Joint second Jimmy Ryan & Jim Farrell (11 games) and Anthony & Paddy Ryan 11 games.
The Club will hold its annual table quiz in the Marian Hall on Good Friday night full details later.
Registration forms have been distributed and should be returned to team mentors as soon as possible.

Swimming County Finals take place in Clonmel Swimming Pool on the 5th & 6th of April. Girls on Saturday 5th at 2.00pm. Boys on Sunday 6th at 2.00pm. All names and D.O.B. for the Swimming Event must be sent to John @ 086 089 4718 before Thursday 27th April.
Cross Country
Cross Country County Finals take place on Friday 4th April in Thurles Crokes at 7pm. Entries on the night.
Rory Morahan is no stranger to our TV screens, having previously wowed the Late Late Show audience by cooking Christmas dinner in an astonishing 3 minutes! He also hosted Celtic True Food on TG4, and has appeared on The Afternoon Show, TV AM and currently on O Cuisine on TG4. Meanwhile Karl’s passion, dedication and commitment over the years have seen him cook privately for Prince Albert of Monaco, Enya, Bruce Springsteen, Colin Farrell, Elton John, Angelina Jolie and many more.
This will be a great evening of cookery, chat and entertainment, with lots of fantastic prizes to be won on the night. Tickets cost €20 and include complimentary drinks reception on arrival, with all proceeds going to Templemore Badminton Club Development Project. Tickets are available from all committee members and from some outlets in Templemore itself. Alternatively contact 086 3003327 or 087 1340257 for tickets. It’s shaping up to be a great night.
