Paddy Ryan, Laura Ryan, Martin Ryan and Alan Ryan being presented with their prizes by a rep from Devil’s Bit Macra

Congrats to the Clodagh Macra team of Alan Ryan, Laura Ryan, Martin Ryan and Paddy Ryan on winning the North Tipperary round of the question time on Friday night in Templemore. They will now go forward to represent North Tipperary in the Macra question time national final in Enfield, Co Meath in February. Clodagh Macra are holding a meeting this Friday night in the Clodagh bar at 9 PM. If interested please come along!

 Enrolment in St. Patrick’s Boys’ N.S. 

Enrolment of boys for the school year 2012/2013 will take place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, February 6th, 7th and 8th. from 3.00 to 3.30 p.m. If these days or times are not convenient, please contact the school (0504 51007) and we will arrange a time to suit you.



 St. Joseph’s College Maths Quiz Team 
 
St. Josephs College, Borrisoleigh winners of the Higher Maths Team Quiz which was held in Thurles on Friday 27th January 2012. They will represent Tipperary in the National Final on Saturday 3rd March 2012 at the University of Limerick.
 

 St. Joseph’s Young Priests Society  

A Spiritual evening will take place in St. John the Baptist Church, Cashel on Sunday February 5th between 3pm and 4pm, consisting of Eucharistic Adoration, readings, prayers and reflections.

Refreshments will be served afterwards in the Parish Centre, Cashel.

 May She Rest in Peace 



Patricia Maher of Cullohill R.I.P.

The death occurred on Sunday 29th January of Patricia Maher of Cullohill. Her Funeral Mass took place in the Sacred Heart Church Borrisoleigh on Tuesday 31st January with burial in St. Brigid’s Cemetery. We offer our deepest sympathies to her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
 



 Noble Art Group Exhibition 

On Tuesday 7th February 2012 at 7.30 pm Jim Ryan (Councillor) will open an Art Exhibition at the Source Arts Centre. All are welcome to view the work of the ‘Noble Art Group’, Thurles who paint in mixed mediums.

About the Group
The group is composed of local people who meet in the Silver Band Hall, Stradavoher, Thurles on Tuesday nights at 7.30pm. They work in a variety of mediums but mainly water colours and acrylics.
