Borris-Ileigh Camogie Club Notes

Third Win for Intermediates:
Our Intermediates travelled to Newport last Saturday and came away with our third win of the Championship following a cracking game between two very evenly matched teams.

Goals from Dani Ryan and Emma Maher helped us secure a 2-10 to 1-11 victory.

Next up for the Intermediates is a home fixture against Shannon Rovers on Saturday evening next at 6pm.

Under 6s & Under 8s:
Our Under 6 and 8 teams had some great fun matches against Boherlahan Dualla on Saturday morning in which all our girls performed brilliantly.

Tipperary Co-op Club Leagues:
Our Tipperary Co-op sponsored club leagues will be held in the Park on Friday evening next starting at 6pm.

It promises to be a great night of camogie that will include all our players in the Under 6, 8, 10 and 12 age-groups.

A huge thanks to Tipperary Co-op for sponsoring our event.

Shanahan’s Centra Tomas Max Memorial Tournament:
Friday 23rd of September is the date for this year’s Tomas Max Memorial Under 10 Tournament which has been kindly sponsored by Shanahan’s Centra.

This year will see Borris-Ileigh, Toomevara, Burgess and Boherlahan Dualla participate with all clubs entering two teams.

Full details next week.

Development Leagues:
Our Under 15s are at the semi-final stage of their development league where they are being pitched against our near neighbours Templemore.
