Amy Ryan (Matt) of Knockanevin RIP

The death occurred on Tuesday 9th August of Amy Ryan (Matt) of Knockanevin. Her Funeral Mass takes place in the Sacred Heart Church Borrisoleigh on Friday 12th August at 11.30a.m. with burial in Templederry Cemetery immediately afterwards. We offer our deepest sympathies to her family and friends. May she rest in peace.
 

 Drawing Course at Thurles Education Centre 

 Thurles Education Centre, Kickham St, Thurles are offering a part time drawing course. This course will lead to a FETAC Level 4 certificate in Drawing. The course will begin on Wednesday the 31st of August and will run for two hours every Wednesday and Friday morning for 6 weeks. Any enquiries please ring (086) 3600103 or email hurley.e@gmail.com
 

 Borris-Ileigh Juvenile GAA Club 

U14 North hurling semi final V Shannon Rovers will take place on Tuesday 30th August 2011.  Venue and time to be arranged.  We will play Mungret from Limerick in an U14 challenge this Friday at 7 p.m. in Borrisoleigh.

U16 lost to Roscrea in a close game last week and also narrowly lost to Kilruane McDonaghs last Monday.  We are down to play Nenagh next Monday.

U12 we took part in the Activity day in the Gaelic Grounds in Limerick and played three games against Abbeydorney (Kerry) Mount Sion (Waterford) and O Callaghan Mills(Clare).  A great day was had by all.  Thanks to Michael and selectors for supervising the young players for the day.

The VHI Cul camp is ongoing this week and is going great.  Well done to all taking part.
