Borrisoleigh Active Social Club

Borrisoleigh Active Social Club took a group for an enjoyable day out to Co. Waterford . On route we stopped off for tea and freshly baked scones. We continued onto Mount Congreve House and Gardens for a guided tour. Our final call was to Tramore. While the weather wasn’t great we still had a lovely day with some getting in a walk on the beach, shopping and the traditional fish and chips. 

Our next trip is on August 4th. If you are interested please contact Eileen 087 9849848 or Lucia 086 3961211 before July 21st. As this is a Mystery Trip and we need to have definite numbers. No names will be taken after this date.

Annual Pioneer Pilgrimage: The Annual Pioneer Pilgrimage to Knock will take place next Sunday 16th July. Mass @ 3pm with Anointing of the Sick beforehand at 2.30pm.

Chair Yoga and Meditation

There is active retirement Chair Yoga and Meditation in the Community Centre, Borrisoleigh at 11am on Thursday mornings. They are run in 4 week blocks. New one beginning this Thursday 14th of July.  To book ring Nora Shanahan on 087-1473457.

Rockshield Programme

The Rockshield Programme recently launched its First Edition on Emotional Wellbeing. This is a step by step guide on how to manage your wellbeing, which we all know is vitally important. Books are available for sale. Contact Joe Ryan, Moakland, Upperchurch on 087 4549564.
