Borrisoleigh Active Social Club

Our June monthly meeting took place last Wed night. We presented a cheque to Anna Ryan of the Suir Haven Cancer Support Centre Thurles which were all the proceeds from our recent 12 hour walk. Anna was delighted on behalf of the centre and was very thankful to the club for organising the walk. And again on behalf of the club we would like to thank everybody who supported our walk to make it such a success.

There will be no monthly meeting of the club but we are organising day trips instead.  On Fri July 1st we are aiming to head towards Kildare/Newbridge . Places that we are hoping to go to would be The National Stud, Newbridge Silverware/Museum, Japanese Gardens and if anyone wants to do a bit of shopping we will go to the Whitewater shopping centre in Newbridge. We need to get names in asap if you are interested in going so we know what size bus to book and to check out group rates for any of the places mentioned.

For August we hope to go to Cobh and the surrounding areas but will have more details in a couple of weeks.

For further details contact Lucia on 0863961211 or Eileen 0879849848 or Dolores 0863815020.
