Rose of Borrisoleigh
 The Backroad Boys
As preparations continue for the Rose of Borrisoleigh we hope people have put Saturday 24th of July into their diaries for what promises to be one of the most enjoyable nights of the summer. We also are honoured to be able to announce the reunification of one of the greatest ever boybands produced-The Backroad Boys (under the guidance of Manager/Choreographer/Backing Vocalist Rory Ryan), featuring the vocal “talents” of David O Connor, Paul Maher, Benny Harkin, Rory Ryan and of course the high pitched angelic sounds of Conor Walsh.

The list of judges has been confirmed as Mick Small, Joe Kennedy, Denise Ryan and Noreen Ryan and all will give honest appraisals of the contestant’s suitability for the much desired crown.

The list of Roses will include Kevin Murray, Tom Young(Twin), Benny and Jody Harkin, Frank Cooney, David O Connor and Matthew Stapleton and John Keane-more to be announced next week.

We also have a top list of prizes for a raffle with first prize being a Tipperary jersey signed by the panel. So stay tuned and watch out for the posters around town for what will be a great night.
