Trócaire Representative visits the Parish

Fr. Michael Barry CC with Kim Wallis, Regional Liaison Officer for Trócaire in South East Asia

Last weekend at all Masses in the Parish Ms. Kim Wallis, Regional Liaison Officer for Trócaire in South East Asia spoke to parishioners about her work with Trócaire, The Irish Catholic Agency for World Development. She thanked all those who gave so generously to Trócaire’s recent appeal for the victims of Haiti and for their generosity to The Annual Lenten Trócaire Box Appeal. She was at pains to point out that none of the good work that Trócaire does around the world would be possible were it not for the generosity of so many people.

This Lent your donations will help to break the cycle of hunger and poverty in the world’s poorest countries. To find out more about the people Trócarie has helped with your donations, please go to www.trocaire.org
