Borrisoleigh Heritage and Culture – Glenkeen
Exciting news for Borrisoleigh and Glenkeen. The old monastic ruin of Glenkeen that has been falling into dereliction over the years has been selected by the Heritage Council of Ireland as one of their projects under the “Adopt a monument scheme”. Each year, eight worthy projects from all over Ireland are selected under this initiative under the auspices of the National Monuments and Heritage Council of Ireland bodies.
Check out the Heritage Council’s facebook page for more details.
