Borrisoleigh Active Social Club

Borrisoleigh Active Social Club  were on the road again, this time it was a day trip to Kilkee on Friday 1st August.  We stopped at Bunratty on route for refreshments. We arrived to glorious sunshine in Kilkee, some people enjoyed the cliff walk where the views were spectacular, while others availed of the lovely sunshine and relaxed on the beach, others pottered around the lovely tourist areas of the town and a few even went for a paddle….

We enjoyed a lovely meal at Treacy’s Westcounty in Ennis on the way home. As always, everyone enjoyed the day & are looking forward to the next day out.

We are going to Cabragh Wetlands in Thurles on 22nd Aug. & to Bru Boru, Cashel on 29th to see Derek Ryan in concert.  Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 3rd September in the parish centre at 7pm where we will be planning our autumn schedule.  Upcoming September event include a day at the races, a trip to Lisdoonvarna & a 3 night trip to Trim, so there’s lots going on in Borrisoleigh Active Social Club.
