Members of the Borrisoleigh Church Choir and friends paid their usual annual visit to Carrigeen Nursing Home on Thursday 22 December last. Gifts were given and carols and songs were sung much to the enjoyment of the residents and staff. A lovely festive evening was enjoyed by one and all. ![]() Maria shares her singing talent with the residents of Carrigeen Nursing Home as Anne-Marie and baby Kenzie look on.

![]() Borrisoleigh's Brendan Maher caught up with some Tipperary hurling fans during his recent trip to San Francisco with the All Stars. Brendan is pictured here with Ryan Martin (centre) and Brendan Maher!! Ryan is a son of Jerry Martin, from Gortagarry and Geraldine Ryan, from Currabaha. Ryan plays hurling in San Francisco. Brendan is a son of Tom Maher (Cullohill) and Sheila Ryan (Currabaha). Both Ryan and Brendan are active members of the GAA scene in San Francisco. They were delighted to be able to welcome their heroes to the GAA grounds in Treasure Island.
Camogie Club
![]() The Camogie Club is hosting a party in the community centre for all the juvenile players ranging from under 8 to under 16 on Friday the 6th January from 7pm to 9pm. There will be music, fun and games along with some treats for the girls, this is just a small thank you for the girls for all their hard work during the year. We look forward to seeing all our players there for a couple of hours fun.
