Rathmoy Golden Mile Tree Trail Launched
 

The Rathmoy Golden Mile Tree Trail was launched last Saturday May 4th. Following the guided walk participants finished at the Community Centre for the ‘Big Hello’. See next week for more photos.

Split The Pot Coming to Borrisoleigh

Borrisoleigh Community Development Association will be starting a fun fundraiser in the near future called ‘Split The Pot’. Stay tuned for more details!

Borris-Ileigh Juvenile GAA Club

 
The Parish League is drawing to it’s conclusion with the finals to be played on Sunday 19th May at 6.30pm. 
 
The Cup Final will see Eoghan O Hagan’s Team play Aaron Younge’s Team. When these two teams previously met in Round 2 it finished on a scoreline of 6-7 to 3-6.
 
 
 
 
 
The Shield Final will be played by Cian Murphy’s Team against Lochlan Hodgins’ Team. In their last encounter in Round 2, Cian Murphy’s Team emerged victorious with a scoreline of 7-2 to 2-11.
 
 
 

Borris-Ileigh Juvenile GAA club wish to extend its deepest sympathies to Jimmy Chute and all the Treacy and Chute families on the untimely passing of our dear friend and loyal supporter Lorraine Chute. Lorraine was a true supporter of our club and always a helping hand with anything that was needed. She will be dearly missed by everyone. May she rest in peace.

Borris-Ileigh Juvenile GAA Club would also like to extend its deepest sympathies to Cillian and all the Stapleton family on the untimely passing of our cherished friend Amanda Stapleton. Amanda battled long and hard throughout her illness, her willingness to fight for each day was an inspiration to all around her. May She Rest in Peace.

 

Borrisoleigh Active Social Club

On Wednesday May 22 we’ll have Rita a Pastry Chef from Mount Juliet coming to the Community Centre Borrisoleigh to give a Chocolate Cookery Demonstration with participation from our members.  

Our Summer party will take place on Monday June 3rd in Finn’s Bar Borrisoleigh.  There will be finger food and music entertainment by Phil Maher.  Everybody is welcome.

Borris Ileigh  Camogie club would like to congratulate Emma Maher on her game with Tipperary Primary Games match against Cork last Sunday and Wish best of luck to Ava Bevans in her match against Waterford on the 19th also.
