Borris-Ileigh Camogie Club Notes

Win for Under 14s:
Our Under 14 team played their second round of the Championship last Thursday night against Ballina in the Park.

A goal each from Tara Maher and Grace Stapleton was instrumental in recording a good victory following a good all-round team performance.

We’re back in action again tomorrow (Thursday) night where we have an away fixture against Nenagh at 7pm.

Under 16s Win Thriller:
Our Under 16’s came out on the right side of the scoring stakes in an absolute thriller against Boherlahan on Wednesday night last in the Park.

From start to finish,  both teams contributed brilliantly to a wonderful advertisement for the game of camogie.

The final score was Borris-Ileigh 5-10, Boherlahan 2-11.

Next up is another home fixture against Annacarthy tonight (Wednesday) at 7pm.

Victory for Intermediates:
Borris-Ileigh and Kilruane served up a cracking game in the County Intermediate League last Saturday evening in the Park.

Fielding 8 minors in the starting line-up, our youthful outfit acquitted themselves brilliantly and an all-round excellent team performance resulted in a 3-08 to 2-06 victory.

Our next fixture is against Boherlahan on Sunday evening next in the Park at 6pm.
